Terms and conditions for using Charlie Detailing B.V. services

Important Notice

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our services. By engaging Charlie Detailing B.V., you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Charlie Detailing B.V. ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"), a Dutch company registered in the Netherlands.

By booking an appointment, using our services, visiting our facility, or engaging with us in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent website notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

3. Services Description

Charlie Detailing B.V. provides professional automotive care services including but not limited to:

Ceramic Coating

  • Paint protection applications
  • Multi-year coating warranties
  • Surface preparation and priming
  • Quality assurance inspections

Vehicle Storage

  • Secure indoor storage facilities
  • Climate-controlled environments
  • 24/7 security monitoring
  • Maintenance while stored

Additional Services

  • Damage assessment and repair
  • Vehicle photography
  • Consultation services
  • Custom detailing packages

4. Booking and Appointments

4.1 Appointment Scheduling

  • All services require advance booking and confirmation
  • Appointments are subject to availability and staff scheduling
  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Confirmation will be provided via email or phone within 24 hours of booking

4.2 Cancellation Policy

  • 48+ hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling at no charge
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee may apply
  • Less than 24 hours: Full service charge may apply
  • No-show: Full service charge will be applied

4.3 Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. Please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. We will accommodate rescheduling requests whenever possible, subject to availability.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing and Quotes

  • All prices are in Euros (€) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • Written quotes are valid for 30 days from issue date
  • Additional services requested during appointment may incur extra charges

5.2 Payment Methods

  • Cash, debit cards, credit cards, and bank transfers accepted
  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless prior arrangements made
  • For storage services, payment is due monthly in advance
  • Late payment fees may apply for overdue accounts

5.3 Deposits

Certain services may require a deposit to secure booking. Deposit amounts will be clearly communicated at time of booking and will be applied toward final payment.

6. Vehicle Condition and Liability

6.1 Pre-Service Inspection

  • A thorough inspection will be conducted before service begins
  • Existing damage, wear, or defects will be documented
  • Customers will be notified of any concerns before proceeding
  • Photos may be taken for documentation purposes

6.2 Vehicle Condition Requirements

  • Vehicles must be in roadworthy condition
  • Fuel tanks should have adequate fuel for moving vehicle
  • Personal items should be removed from vehicle interior
  • Customers must disclose any known mechanical issues

6.3 Liability Limitations

Important Liability Notice:

  • Our liability is limited to the value of services provided
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear
  • Maximum liability shall not exceed the service fee paid
  • We maintain comprehensive business insurance coverage

7. Service Warranties and Guarantees

7.1 Workmanship Warranty

  • All services come with a 30-day workmanship guarantee
  • Ceramic coating services include manufacturer warranties up to 5 years
  • Warranty covers defects in application, not normal wear or damage
  • Warranty claims must be reported within specified timeframes

7.2 Warranty Exclusions

  • Damage caused by accidents, abuse, or neglect
  • Normal wear and tear from regular vehicle use
  • Damage from environmental factors beyond our control
  • Modifications made by third parties after our service

7.3 Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, contact us immediately with photos and description of the issue. We will assess the claim and provide appropriate remedy, which may include re-service or refund at our discretion.

8. Vehicle Storage Services

8.1 Storage Agreement

  • Minimum storage period is one month
  • Monthly fees are due in advance
  • 30 days written notice required for storage termination
  • Storage agreement includes specific terms and conditions

8.2 Storage Responsibilities

  • Vehicles must be in good mechanical condition
  • Valid insurance must be maintained at all times
  • Registration and licensing must remain current
  • Battery maintenance may be required for long-term storage

8.3 Access and Security

  • 24-hour advance notice required for vehicle access
  • Access during business hours unless emergency
  • Security systems monitor facility continuously
  • Climate control maintains optimal storage conditions

9. Customer Responsibilities

9.1 Information Accuracy

  • Provide accurate contact and vehicle information
  • Disclose any known damage or mechanical issues
  • Inform us of any special requirements or concerns
  • Update contact information as needed

9.2 Preparation Requirements

  • Remove all personal belongings from vehicle
  • Ensure vehicle has adequate fuel
  • Provide all necessary keys and access codes
  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments

9.3 Communication

Customers must maintain open communication regarding scheduling, concerns, or changes in circumstances that may affect service delivery.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Information collected includes:

  • Contact information and vehicle details
  • Service history and preferences
  • Payment and billing information
  • Photos for documentation purposes

11. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials associated with Charlie Detailing B.V. are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our intellectual property without written permission.

Photos taken during service may be used for marketing purposes unless you specifically opt out. We respect your privacy and will not use images without appropriate consent.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Internal Resolution

We are committed to resolving disputes quickly and fairly. Please contact us immediately with any concerns, and we will work to find a satisfactory solution.

12.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of the Netherlands.

12.3 Mediation

Before pursuing formal legal action, parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation as appropriate under Dutch law.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather conditions affecting service delivery
  • Equipment failures or technical difficulties
  • Government regulations or restrictions
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Acts of nature or other unforeseen events

In such cases, we will reschedule services at the earliest opportunity and notify affected customers promptly.

14. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Charlie Detailing B.V.
